Here's a fellow NCN'er Tooninator. I posted it on the forum a while back but not everyone is an NCN member. We post pics and draw each other. What other reason do you need to join? Check out the website and join!
Here are some character designs and illos from a freelance project I did. I included some revised characters. They are simple illos because they are going to be used in power point presentations, that's why there's a lot of pointing going on. My aim was to create characters of various ages and race, male and female. I wanted the race to be somewhat ambiguous so nobody would fell left out.
I worked with this client a while back and they loved what I did for them. At the time, I liked what I did. Looking back...GEEZ! I hate what I did! They wanted the newer materials to be like the older stuff so I am tweaking the older characters as I need to draw them with newer ones.
Well...I finally updated my website. It's been 4 years since an update. I have a lot of work that is on my blog there but a few other newer things too. I have been busy and it's something that I put off because I had a look in mind for what I wanted but decided to go with convenience. I used RapidWeaver. It's a program for us Mac users that makes it pretty easy to update. I plan on updating more often and creating more work. I still have a lot I need to scan in order to put up but at least I made progress. In the future I will share some storyboards and 3D animation.
I can finally show off my updated logo. Some people ask about the RPM in RPM Illustration...it's Robert Peter Miller. I like my initials. Also, robbmillerart.com works too!
Here's a cast of characters I am developing for my work with Salon Development. We create books and various materials to edu-tain in the salon industry.
